Non-Food Post - Books Read in 2010

I seem to have dropped off in my reading, only 24 books in 2010. My favorites were Proust was a Neuroscientist by Jonah Lehrer and The Road by Cormac McCarthy. Honorable mention goes to Full Dark, No Stars, because it seems like Stephen King is finally returning to the writer he used to be.

With no further adieu, the list:

Hi CC - The only other Barker I've read is Imajica. Books of Blood is now on my to-read list :)

hi vicki - the first book i read was imajica back when it came out. wasn't so much a fan of his fantasy stuff as much as his horror material.

Books of Blood is a compilation of his short stories, one of which was the basis for the horror movie, "Candyman". If you've ever watched the movie "Nightbreed", that was also based on the novel "Cabal" by Barker.

Other books by Barker I like are "The Damnation Game", "The Hellbound Heart" (from which the "Hellraiser" movie was based), and "Weaveworld" (this one is more fantasy) and "The Thief of Always". I have "Abarat" but haven't started it yet.
