Cheese-Stuffed Bacon-Wrapped Tater Tots

Doesn't that sound incredible?

I thought so when I saw this post by Lori of Recipe Girl. So I ran out and bought some tater tots.

These are super-easy to make - partially thaw the tots, cut a lengthwise slit into each one, stuff with a bit of cheese. Sprinkle with hot sauce, and wrap in bacon, and stab with a toothpick.

Bake at 450 for about 15 minutes, turning once.

Not health food, but oh so good.

oh hell yeah! now that is a snack i'd eat!

here's another one involving bacon:

ingredients:
1 lb little smokies links
1 lb bacon (cut into thirds)
1/2/ cup brown sugard

directions:
roll bacon around little smoky link and stab with a toothpick. do this to the whole package.
put half in a slow cooker. put half of the brown sugar. now put the other half of the links and the sugar.
crank the slow cooker up to high and leave on for 3 hours (the recipe i saw said '4' but mine were done by 3 hrs, plus i was impatient).

enjoy. that was our superbowl sunday snack.

i am going to make your recipe soon! i need to buy some tots first!

Hey CC - Those sound great! I don't think I've ever bought little smokies before. I may have to now.

i rarely eat those links either but i bought it for the recipe. $2.49 at target. ha ha.

omg, anything with bacon is so good!

i'm totally buying some tots later tonight so i can make this tomorrow. i already have cheddar cheese because i tried making some wanna be red lobster biscuits (close but no cigar) using bisquick, cheddar cheese and chives.

Hey, how cool! I think I will wrap some up for my grand kids next time they are over here and serve them up - they look yummy! But first I want to finish the cup of coffee I just made with some keurig k cups in my keurig b70 coffee maker!
