My MIL's chili verde con puerco, pinto beans, with tortillas. No, you can't have the recipe, I'm afraid of what she'd do to me.

Mmmmm, mmmm, mmmm! I love me some green chile.
I make mine in the crockpot and let it cook for 24 hours. Can you at least share which cut MIL uses? Does she put hominy in hers?
Lean-ish pork chops. Anaheims, yellow chilies, tomato & onion. No hominy. Quantities? Who knows.
Interesting! I use pork shoulder or butt. More work cutting it up, but it's cheap.
MIL's version is more of a green chili stew with the pork as a condiment, so the cost isn't prohibitive. Chilis rule.
